Going to look great from 6th Ave looking across the park.
Im real hoping my company has the contract for the pannellng in this building. Though there doesn't appear to be much (if any) on the exterior, there does appear to be some in the interior and around the +15. I would love to be able to work on such a gorgeous building. Does anyone know what materials are being used on 707? (ACM panels? trespa? cladding? tiling? aluminum flashing?)

Does anybody know who is providing the curtainwall for the tower portion and who is doing the glazing at the atrium and the warped skylight? This tower might have some techniques not seen in any building built so far in this city's history..

As of yesterday they had move the concrete placement boom to the top of the core, should speed core levels up.

Wonder if there are any friendly wagers between the two Elis Don sites DT on top outs.

Well Brookfield is flying upwards now, haven't been by 707 - 5th in a while.
Both projects could be top notch in terms of glazing.

By the looks of it, this will be a steel frame/concrete core tower like Brookfield Place and EAP. This tower will absolutely fly from this point on. As an example, Brookfield Place is currently only around 35 meters shorter than this tower will be at completion.

Not just yet. Still need to make grade.

Given the size of beam on the SW corner of the site over the parkade ramp, the grade slab is going to be quite the endeavor.

I guess so, eh? Forgot about that part. The core seems to be rising nicely though at least.

The live construction camera is at the perfect angle to watch the steel go up.

Last Friday night I was at State and Main until 11PM, and the workers were still on site working at that time. They're certainly going all-out in getting this one up.
