Looks like the corner of Sunningdale and Richmond will be getting more development in the future with the following proposal.

Tricar is moving ahead with the 2nd condo tower and York is planning a tower on the NE corner.

The city has also done a EA on a pedestrian bridge over Richmond Street north of the intersection and plan to make it a gateway welcome sign to travelers on Richmond.

Not bad, but they need more character to these plazas. Add some hipster flavour or something out of the cookie cutter designs. Build with character and they will come!

Isn't there a plaza being built across the street by upper Richmond village? How much retail do they need out here in the "country". Isn't there enough by masonville and Hyde park?

If it was with some character like: Legacy Village, 25001 Cedar Rd, Lyndhurst, OH 44124, USA

it would be pretty nice. Why don't we build places like this in Ontario? If Ohio can do it, we can too.

The crane is now up and the first floor walls for Tricar's 2nd tower on Sunningdale.
