From I-35

For perspective, the spire on 360 is 101 feet higher than the roof of 360. The roof of The Independent will be 109 feet higher than 360's spire.





It should easily tower over 360 here.



And two from my neck of the woods in South Austin showing the crane. This is from the turn lane at South First Street and Turtle Creek Boulevard. It's going to be visible up and down South First. You can already see 360, the Frost Bank Tower, Colorado Tower and the Austonian along there.

Man, Austin is nuts. My grandma lives in Marble Falls/Spicewood and I remember going there all the time in the 90s and it was just a sleepy little city with barely any skyline to speak of. Whoda thunk it would turn into this not even 20 years later.

They're getting ready to pour the 35th floor columns. The 34th floor is at 361 feet 6 inches, per the elevations. The 35th floor is 16 feet tall and the tower shifts again, which creates a setback at the 35th floor as part of the "jenga effect".
