1/23/2019 Essex Apartments

The building sometimes seems to almost disappear against a blue sky.

gillynova - 100 Folsom is the one that will block the view of the San Francisco Bay bridge tower in my view (telephoto used to get this up-close view). The tallest building is at 400 Folsom, and the one in construction on the right is 500 Folsom. A lot happening on Folsom Street!

What material is in those insets? It looks to be corrugated metal, but hard to tell. Regardless, the metal flashings at the joints make the application look pretty cheap. Otherwise this is a decent looking tower.

It is unbelievable how ugly the building is and the design of it is cheapy.
