I hope that it is true. It would be a boost for other project on James showing that a project can sell out before the foundation is in. This type of record may attract even more projects or cause developers who are on the fence to go ahead with their projects.

Their web site also shows all models being sold out - all good! Maybe Connolly can make same leap of faith and get under way

Some elevations. Apologies for the quality. It's all that's online right now. Note the large south facing expanse of EIFS facing James above the neighbouring building/ facing downtown

Will be interesting to see what this area will look like when all of these new builds are done, and lining the streets...lot of them are hybrids of classic architecture and newskool, and I like it.

totally agreed - combine the old with the new for a classic timeless look

I am still trying to figure out what that green wall on the back of the side of the building there was.. it looks really beat up.. the one to the right of the coca cola sign..

also who the heck decided on the placement of the windows in the middle part - its like someone just threw a bunch of darts on the wall there and just said "put a window and ledge there" sheesh haha..

I was by yesterday and the base for the crane is in place. I guess the're waiting for the crane itself to be delivered. They maybe waiting for the rains to end.

I drove by yesterday and there was no one working there. No activity at all. Anyone know what is happening?
Compared to a Vrancor project, this is like watching ice melt!

Reimar construction is doing the concrete work. As the Reimar guy said in another thread they will be starting on this project after they finish the William Thomas residence.

Three cranes in downtown Hamilton at the same time, it might be a new record!
