New 2008 Global Air Photos

I dont know if these have already been posted, but here are some new updates

Anyone who says the Shangri-la isn't tall enough is crazy! More would be sweet though.

Debbie Downer,

It's a solid skyline for a city its size.

I know it's no "big cemented area" but it has other qualities that you might not appreciate.

I really notice a lot of green spaces mixed in with all of the density downtown... fantastic!

You don't see skylines from the air, at least from that high up. That's why they're called aerial photos and not skyline photos. Don't worry, a lot of people make the same mistake.

That shot just reminds me of the upcoming video game, CitiesXL (which is very similar to Sim City).

What an interesting shot of Shangri-La. =O

But you can grow vegetables on the east side because you have more sunlight - the trees on the west side often provide too much shade to grow vegetables.

I live in the east side and I have 1 cedar tree, 2 hazelnut trees, a fig tree, and a mini vineyard, plus I still have a big flower garden in the front plus a vegetable garden in the back.
My neighbours in all the vancouver specials and older have very similar, only the newer houses are lacking in greenery.

And those will come with time.
You can't grow a fig tree on the west side - not enough sunlight!
