It seems to me that cladding work on the tower has come to a screeching halt for the last few weeks. Does anyone know why this might be?

I know I've said this a million times but seeing it, in reality, makes it worse. The building looks totally wrong without it's X bracing. The biggest design mistake of the whole complex, you'd think they wouldn't skimp out on big New York projects like this.

Cladding on Comcast Tech Center in Philly has stopped as well. Seems a material supply issue.

I believe it compliments the complex as a whole much better without the cross bracing and the antennas.

Without the cross bracing? Maybe. Without the antennas? Absolutely not.

That's assuming both projects are using the same supplier. In the case of 3WTC, I would have thought that all the product needed is already on hand. Maybe not.

The fact that 4WTC is now fully leased is a milestone in itself. Still a long, long way to go, but we're getting there.

Yes it is. People sometimes forget how large these towers are, each being more than 2 msf (One Vanderbilt doesn't clear 2 msf), all being built Downtown. It takes time to fill up that space, always longer than it would for that amount in Midtown.

From the NJ side, from the right angle, both Lower Manhattan, DoBro, and JC look like one massive CBD. Kinda the perks of Jersey City and DoBro booming as it makes Lower Manhattan look massive, and for a minute, you'd think it was just as big like Midtown. This illusion might be further accelerated as Journal Square see's a couple of 500+ foot towers. Along with whatever may rise in 5 years.
