Wish my work schedule wasn't 9-6. I would try to be there tomorrow.
I did send a message to all council members. Please, everyone, write to our council members. We may be a small, niche community, but we still have a voice in this city!

Emails sent. I used the precedent of all the other projects of similar and even taller heights to give this one legitimacy.

What is it with NIMBYs calling any project they are opposed to a "condo" or worse yet a "high-end condo". This Taco Cabana project is apartments and I don't know if I would consider them all that "high-end". It's just like the 704 apartments I can't tell you how many times I've heard people complain about the Broken Spoke being surrounded by "high rise condos" it's quite a stretch to call a 4 story apartment a "high rise" and as far as I know none of the mixed use developments on Lamar are planned as condos.

They'll just switch to "Luxury apartments" by a "California Developer". Have to have blackhats if you're going to mount a ersatz populist protest.

I would still call them high-end simply because they have 2k+/month apartments. However, they have a great range including studios for sub-1000 a month. Yah, calling that building a high-rise is a joke.

Sorry, talking about the 704 apartrments, not sure what the new project will go for in price.

Gibson Flats

The only thing I do not like about this project is the fact that the sidewalks aren't very wide like most of the other projects on S. Lamar.

I gotta say, these smaller projects have turned out nicely and have some really decent designs.

This. A sports bar or something with a current location in The Domain.

Are they closing Fuddruckers? I haven't been by there and noticed. I always did like their burgers.

According to a Yelp review it has been closed since early August.

Damn, that sucks. I guess we should have gone there instead of the Olive Garden.
