They took the mural down and now the old Steinway Hall is seeing the light of day again

You know you have a complete winner when you take a shot of the Midtown Monster menagerie nowadays and you can't find the PanAm/Met Life Building.

There is the long awaited setback or terrace level emerging for sure at that platform that juts out. The setback isn't as dramatic as I thought it would be. Looks like maybe a few feet.

It's supposed to contain studios, offices, and apartments, as well as retail.

The setbacks are subtle, increasing in number as the tower rises. That's what gives it it's "feathered" look. That first setback is also supposed to be one of the windbreaks.
