2481 Barton St E | ? | 17 fl | Proposed

27 storey application close to the intersection of Centennial and Barton. This would be walkable to both the LRT and GO Station. The site is currently a trucking yard.

Interestingly, it's only 207 units in a 27-storey building. That's well below the typical unit size for a building that size.

Maybe that just means each unit isn't a shoebox size lol.

Most excellent news, such wasted land in such a prime area and these units must be pretty large which is also welcome news!

This is right across the street from the huge proposed development.

Update from Joey:

Hamilton's Design Review Panel will discuss a 17-storey proposal for 2481 Barton Street East this Thursday.
This is near Centennial Parkway. #yhmcc

Kinda basic, but not horrible. Not sure if this is rental or condo, but it'll add nice density to the area - especially if/when the proposal across the street gets done.

A less than 1-1 parking ratio out here is quite aggressive. I like it.
