I'm starting to be impressed with Montreal's lighting game. It completely livens up the place!

The white lighting is not tacky though, they should just pick a color already. By the way, this church is also a theatre and it's centrally located in the Quartier des spectacles, hence the "theatrical" lighting. Every venues in the quartier is illuminated.

It slowly transitions from colour to colour and is actually quite beautiful. A video would be more appropriate.

The app is great. It plays the song and gives you the background as well as directing you to the next stop on the tour. I set out to photograph all of them but they really work better with video. That, and I stopped off at a bar halfway through.. the first half..

My wife and I saw several of the Cité Mémoire exhibits around Old Montreal this past summer and were entranced. The one in honour of Leonard Cohen was magical.

Transportation Building, Ottawa. Built in 1916. Served as a "temporary" City Hall between 31' and 58' after the previous one burned down. The building has been part of the Rideau Centre since 1983.

Subway entrance will be on the bottom, left of the picture.

Oh hell no! You can't end this off with a "but.."

I want to hear the whole logic behind your ridiculously pathetic, defensive comparison.

I'm not a big fan of lighting... in some cases it works (churches, port clock tower, etc.) but for buildings and bridges, it can easily look tacky.

Dundas Square is not a lighting fixture. Use a better comparison next time. I like the lighting on that Church btw.
