Great vid Cal!

Caltrane's epic quest to find the piece of cladding!

FS has a great presence on Bay St right now! Very tall structure rising!

It was announced about two years ago. It was originally going to be similar in scale to ICE: two towers, with the taller one over 700 ft. But the city objected because of sightline issues along University Ave. south of Queen's Park. The project has been severely truncated. Location is where the current Four Seasons hotel sits. Unfortunately, it will be torn down for this.

I'm gonna spend even more time in Yorkville now, just drooling all over this glass.

omg fukme, I forgot to bring my cam today, just got some instant cell phone pictures, and I don't know how to make them bigger..

ahh who cares. I'll bring my cam down here tomorrow.

Thanks for the info
I think i saw Koops65 drawing for these towers and yes, they do look like the ICE towers.... I have doubts of them tearing down the old Four Seasons but ya never know what hey'll come up with... Tearing down a 30+ story tower in the heart of yorkville doesn't seem to believable... we'll see what happens.... Right now it seems at a stand still....

FS cladding looks sick!

No prob Pity the original plan was rejected. Would've been a couple of stunners.

I personally think its a waste to tear down a perfectly habitable building thats 30+ stories... not to mention that IS the original FS.. lots of history there... But if we see something nice wanna go up there.. i'm all for it!

Many yorkvillers hated the project/plan and so did queens park... they would have definitely dominated the area!
