YES HE DOES.... LOL

July 31, 2007

on my way from 60 Wall street, I took a detour to the WTC construction site......most of the sidewalk is closed....except for the area around the PATH entrance.............

the whole area is buzzing with activity.

tourists most likely from the midwest...

probably because bombs werent placed inside and detonated like in 1 WTC, 2 WTC, and 7 WTC

amazing how these supposed "terrorists" passports could be found all clean and sparkly amongst the rubble yet no black box was ever found

funny that most of those 19 men are still alive today

I see your point, and to be honest I'm a conspiracist, but this isnt the place to do it. Dont go overboard on this fourm, last time we had a Conspiracy thread it was locked because the person who started it did the most "american" thing possible and question the goverment.

Now I will say, that Goldman Sach Building down the street is really gettng large! It'll look great next to the Freedom Tower And the Bankers Trust building is shrinking! Oh no! To make way for that toilet

Haha!!

You're so right, Patrick!!

One building being traded off for a commode. Honestly, I don't know what in the hell they were thinking when they allowed THAT building to win a spot for Ground Zero!!

But I guess in time, we'll all have to get over it and accept it.

His pics are VERY GOOD.

Not much has changed since the latest pics were taken. Can't rush the tower into the sky though. Things need a little more time than others.

foundations and below ground always take the longest. towers 2-4 haven't even started that step yet. patience is essential. in the meantime there are plenty of other fantastic projects around the city to pay attention to

And BTW, 7 WTC is getting a new neighbor across the street anyway as we speak - the GS Tower.

It's nice to see all the construction going on in that area. Lower Manhattan seems to be well on its way back after that terrible day in September.

I can't wait until next year when the steel superstructure finally goes above ground. It will be a sight to see such a tall building being constructed.

I LOVE NEW YORK!

I like the one of the Old WTC better. It was more inviting. To me this is too narrow and un-interesting. It doesn't posses that inviting feeling.

I don´t think so becuase they have to put the spire to be the tallest of the US and that will be at the very end, and by then it is very likely that the CS will be way over 1776 feet

And I also like better the old rendering of the lobby, this new one is too cold, they need to add color to it

Does the Freedom Tower HAVE to be 1776 feet tall? Couldn't they go several hundred feet higher? Say, maybe 300 or 400 feet higher? It would be nice if NYC could regain the crown of tallest skyscraper in the US. I would hate to see that honor go to CS!
