Wow Steveve! That model is freaking incredible. Somebody is going to be working with an architecture firm before they're even legally allowed to drink.

Hey Steveve, just checked out that model and couldn't wipe the grin off my face. That thing is amazing and from one enthusiast to another, thank you that made my day.

3 Towers over 200 meters, we have a mini (well maybe not so mini) Trio of 200 meter plus towers, just like Singapore, where their 3 tallest towers are just 280 meters. Here in Yorkville our 3 tallest Towers will be 240 meters, 220 meters, and 205 meters. A mini Singapore indeed, except way richer, rich like Ginza.
I suggest you venture out of your little bubble and visit Singapore... you might take back that comment about way richer.

Yes true enough. But I wanted a skyscraper specific skill like steveve, koops, whippersnapper, or Traynor.

Thats why steveve made me the skyscraper updater.

The Four Seasons is almost a reality, and it looks like Traynor forgot about Trump, although you wouldn't see much of it from this angle as he would argue.

The next buildings that will not need to be photoshopped in upcoming renders:

1. Burano - almost half way up
2. Shangrila - almost half way up
3. Aura - at podium level
4. ICE Condos. - foundation

Exciting skyline change for TO.
Seeing this makes me wish the skyline was spread out on the shore of the lake (ala Chicago) rather than north-south.
Still awesome though.

yup. right now our skyline is basically a rectangle (going from south to north), and has little extensions such as Cityplace to the west, and bloor street to the east.

in the future, i want to see more of a "box" with more things going down by the lake.... and it sucks that there are no "skyscrapers" (150mish), right by the waters edge...

The whole reason that is just a line render, is because I am still waiting to get a hold of the high resolution version of that pic.

By the way Cal, why didn't you post the re-do of that render that I posted right after that one with way more projects added?

(Except for Trump again. I think I have a mental block on that monstrosity)

Anyway... While we wait for a higher resolution of that view...

Inspired by the Photo of the Day on April 5 on Urban Toronto, I whipped up a One Bloor render from the South. Urban Toronto forumers wanted to know what this view may look like when Great Gulf Homes completes their 70 storey condominium known as One Bloor.

It's not perfect, but I got tired of drawing. Well here's my guess:

Nice job on One Bloor.
Also I hope that the Mississauga City Centre turns out like the model shows.

Well if One Bloor turns out even half as good as that. We'll be ok.
