Skyline Impact Graphs

I just wasted a little time today making what I call a couple of skyline impact graphs.
The graphs show existing (or under constuction) buildings based on when they were built. A single pixel vertical line represents a skyscraper.

Here is New York.

Hartford

Hartford superimposed against New York

Here is a blank one if anybody wants to give it a try.

cool diagrams

what I do not understand are small blips, such as 10m scraper for Hartford in 2001

there is got to be some reasonable threshold... 100 m perhaps?

If somebody wanted to do one for Dubai, it probably wouldn't be to hard. Not too much would be happening until the right side of the diagram, where it would explode! Oh yea, more height would be needed for the graph.

I would like to see one of Detroit or Chicago.
