I've said this before but I think it would be good if some historic buildings were reconstructed on the waterfront. My first pick would probably be the old Hauser Stores building that originally had the naval clock on its roof. The current naval clock installation doesn't do it justice.
I've always thought this would be a great idea.

Probably an illustration of the development.

It looks like one of the wharves is slowly starting to come down.

They're really burning the midnight oil on this one. I was waiting for the 9:45 ferry last night and they had excavators working on site.

In related news, AllNS reports that Stewart McKelvey will be making the move from Purdy's Wharf to take up all of the office space in Queen's Marque.

You mean the beige I-beam-looking thing? Apparently, it's another crane, but my own assessment* is that it's the beginnings of a concrete pump, similar to the one that was used on the Nova Centre.

*I'm really just guessing.

It is a concrete boom. So technically it would be a crane of sorts but it only serves one purpose..

Do you mean the blue box-like thing. Same colour as the hoarding? I thought that maybe this was just decorative, like they were planning to put signage on it or somewhat?
