Despite *relative* lack of development, at least for now, Chicago's skyline still does a great job of making a ~730 foot building look absolutely tiny.

It's a really nice building but does anyone else think it kind of looks like a stick of deodorant? The tallest Wolf Point Tower also kind of looks like a shampoo bottle so they'll make a nice toiletries collection I suppose

The "Head and Shoulders" sail-esque design is outdated now. Check out the WPS thread.

In the first preliminary proposals there was mention of a smaller hotel tower immediately north of it. I wonder if they'll ever do that.

With the tight triangular site, it's not ideal for hotel. I think Hines realized this and traded the hotel tower for a few additional stories on the office tower.

Really the restaurant pavilion is probably the most realistic use.

However, I'm confident that the parking lot at Canal and Fulton will get developed with a highrise sometime in the next 5-6 years which will close the visual gap you see from Wacker. That site has access to river views over the top of the River Point restaurant and some pretty nice westward views as well.

Looks like they're finally putting up steel on the east edge of the crown to build the fan shaped parapet.

^must be really complicated up there. I feel like 150 had put up 10 floors, and they still haven't completed the top of River Point.

This always comes to mind:

Jokes aside, this is a stunning building. In my opinion it's the perfect design for its location and is sure to become another Chicago icon. I remember when Wolf Point West dwarfed this and 150 N Riverside on the webcam and now the roles have reversed.

Interesting. Looks like there is a 2 story room right in the center of the building above the last floor of glass. That's gonna be an awesome space.
