Native Calgarian here. And I'm sick and tired of all you non-natives coming here and taking our jerbs.

I consider myself a native Calgarian as I've lived all but 2 of my 28 years here. Sadly my place of birth is Drumheller.

Born and raised in Winnipeg (and NW Ontario.. it's complicated). However my family has been in Canada since 1665 so really, Calgary just feels like a suburb to our well-established home base. Actually that's not entirely true - as the family is 95% eastern (Winnipeg being eastern in this context), my move to Calgary was seen as a betrayal of our roots.

Especially because I came out here to shamelessly took yer jerbs.

Born in Calgary. Then my parents moved and we ended up in northern BC for 20 years. Made calgary home in 1999, 2001, 2003 and permanently 2005.

Love it here.

Edit: Born at Calgary General Hospital.

In Calgary since 1999 I have lived in:

Silver Springs
Kingsland (near chinook)
Sunalta
West Hillhurst
Capital Hill
Currently in the west Beltline.

I was born in Calgary (Holy Cross), but grew up all over the country thanks to my father being in the military. I have lived here for 20 of my 28 years though, so Calgary is definitely home.

Born in Calgary (Foothills Hospital) and lived here my whole life save for a brief stint in Peru (city of Arequipa living with a local family) and in Barcelona (study abroad program). Lived in the NW (Edgemont, Dalhousie, Varsity) and SW (Beltline) only.
