Glass and spandrel are going up. There is quite a bit of spandrel on both the south and west side, and interestingly enough there are no less than three different colors: black, light gray and seafoam green.

I hope the colored balcony glass will happen, as otherwise this will look quite dull.

Yeah I just realized today it both the black and light grey, though I didn't see any seafoam green what part of the building had that?

What a waste. Polygon got off to a good start in Metrotown with Chancellor and Moda - both rather sleek towers for the suburbs - but looks like both this one and Adelynne will be brutal grey blobs.

They're also doing Vittorio in the next-door block just south of this tower.

That may win you back.

Cool, thanks for the update!
Last time I checked they were on the 25th floor (12 more to go), so the curve should come back in once more before swinging back out and finishing at the top floor.

Smile Top view of Midori

This is the current state of development for Midori as of today.
Imperial by Amacon to the right, and Vittorio by Polygon in between the 2.

Update:
Last time I checked they were on the 33rd floor (4 more to go) and are about a month ahead of schedule. They also started the brick facades on the townhomes facing Marlborough.

It'll be a while yet, but I'm anxiously waiting to see them install the glass balcony railings, the north west and south east corners are going to stand out for better or worse.

^^^ milestones^^^

Interesting to observe the transition of the three-story walkups of South Burnaby, so many decades a staple for people of modest middle income, smack next to new Metrotown High rises.

Great picture, thanks for sharing. I am a huge proponent of tower development and would happily live in one, but it still feels a bit surreal to look at the floor in progress and think "that patch of concrete in the sky will be home to dozens."
