[Surrey] Scott Road Transit Village | Proposed

I haven't seen anything officially announced on this, so maybe I'm premature... but last week they started clearing the foliage from the land and they've dug down a few feet.

This will be between the park and ride and the home depot.

Here's the planning and development report

Let's hope they fill in or restore that disgusting polluted ditch.

Noticed they had started digging on the site which is odd because the project doesn't have a development permit yet. Also they only look to be digging on the southern most part of the site with a fence separating it from the north part.

Glad to see this one moving though. Will be a catalyst for renewal of that area, along with the new arena going up across the street.

I've noticed it on the skytrain too. Been searching for the city report. Glad to see this is finally happening. I wonder if the road expansion connecting towards KG blvd is partly because of this?

I doubt it. I believe that expansion was in the works for some time and was desperately needed

It's been 7 months since the last update post for this development. I've noticed all the pile driving has been done. Looks like they're constructing all 4 buildings at once?...instead of phases.

Foundations are being poured now on the western portion of the site. A small crane is erected and I've seen concrete pumping last week.

They've finally added a second larger crane last week and construction is more noticeable.
