Macau is an awesome city with a really nice vibe. Very diverse as well.

Great shots as usual!

Very interesting and great shots! So is it true that Macau is serious about surpassing Vegas as the number one gambling city in the world?

DD,

In terms of casino reveue it should already have surpassed Las Vegas, and has overtaken it as "the world's top gambling destination".

I wouldn't call it strange, rather unique given the mix of Portuguese colonial architecture, a typical Asian city, gambling resort and Disneyland.

Having visited all 5 major gambling cities in the world (Las Vegas, Macau, Monaco, Reno, Atlantic City) I definitely have to say that Macau is my favorite of those.

And after the completion of the Venetian, Macau is rivaling the exhibition/ convention industry of Hong Kong

This place is so exciting. I only spent a night there (and it was raining!) last year on my way from Bangkok to Hong Kong and I wish I stayed a bit longer and explored the city more. Macau surely has got its charm.
