I was thinking of here.

(The laneway will be narrowed)

I had a play with the steps but it could do with some plantings also. Or did you want it close to the sidewalk with the little steps?

Just been diddling around with the colours a bit, and persoally I think the darker walls give me more of a chance to experiment with the rest of th colours a bit.

Would be nice to have some feedback

No problem - glad you like it Your building looks good as well. Like one of those very early glass curtain wall buildings from early 20th century.

Well, the start looks very good. I think the detail is definately there. Hard to tell what kind of building it will be design wise, though, 'cause it's just a start.

I really like CGII's block as well - especially that tall and thin one. That's excellent!

Mo, that lot is good. The building should be as close as possible to the sidewalk, 'cause I think old buildings usually rise straight from the sidewalk with no open space between. It should be sunk so, that as little as possible is visible of the stairs - but not deeper of course.

I did some alterations. Most importantly I made the front corner a little sharper to fit the lot better.

While I was at it I also re-did that backside. I hope you you're gonna make that alley narrower, so my enlarged building fits

The altered building is here:

Vellu I can't help but notice you have a big blank side of your lot left facing the straight street...that's adjacent to my lot, if you're not going to do anything do you think I could bleed some rowhouses over there?

I love it , I think it would look much better with a roof tho, also it may be better suited somewhere else because it does look unique with the narrow width, We'll see how it goes there and discuss later

This is going well. I appreciate the efforts you guys are putting in.

From here on i'll just spend my time on the terrain adjustments so i can keep up by adding the fixtures etc as we go, Thats where i let the last city fail by not keeping up.

OllyRogers, great that Sketch Up makes it is easy to replace materials. Looking very funky.

CGII I am glad you exist.

That blank wall is calling out for an adjacent building. I think your rowhouses would look great there. So go ahead, I had no plans for the rest of the lot.

Lol

CGII you have 336ft of space you can use between the sidewalk and Vellu's building.

Basic shape's coming along nicely now, still gotta do the back however and a lot of detail is missing! Something will be going in the blank space above the main bit, not sure what yet
