Excellent video! Really well done!

Quoted it so that it's on the second page.

Not so much Calgary as it's a travel Alberta video. Some great cinematography in it. Most of the video seems to be in Calgary or areas adjacent to Calgary.

Lemme just resurrect this thread. They aired a couple new ones during Stampede and, I must say, I absolutely love the "(remember to breathe)" Travel Alberta commercials. Very good cinematography, music, etc, etc.

Man, Wil has been getting some great exposure lately- "Ride," the song used in the Stampede 100 ads, is his; so is this song for the "Remember to Breathe" spots, and in this the video just linked that's him playing busker on Stephen Ave at 2:13.

fun video of a scooter tour through Riverdale, Britannia, Stanley Park, Parkhill, Rideau Ridge (my back alley!), Roxboro, Mission, Mount Royal, and ending at River Park.

Interesting to see the old hotels where city hall is now and the row of hotels (York, St Regis, and the Calgarian) where Bow 2 is going.
The south side of the block of 7th Ave looking east from Central United hasn't changed in 50 years or more.

Too cool. Do you just speed up the video and blur the edges to get the effect? I've seen other videos like that and always wondered it if was that easy or if there is a less obvious trick to making the video appear so interesting.

And what camera & editing software do you use - if you're open to sharing that info.

Here is a small clip i built to feature a desk I built. I went up to Scottsman hill to try and get a cool product shot with the city in the back.

This is a timelapse I shot a couple of weeks ago. It was my first attempt at something like this, so please forgive the couple of little bumps where I had to change the camera battery and moved the alignment slightly.

Great to watch! I like how the EAP crane can be seen between the 2 WCP towers.

‎from Travel Alberta:
Billabong chose Alberta as their destination to shoot their entire winter campaign. The video was shot on location at Ski Banff Canada's Big 3, The Lake Louise Ski Area, Sunshine Village Ski and Snowboard Resort and KPOW Cat Skiing at Fortress Mountain.

Awesome timelapse.

Love that Travel Alberta video. The clips from Fortress made me weepy. Nice to see at least one chairlift still works, I hope they open it up this year.
