The incredible thing about the Chrysler is that it was essentially a cheaper building than what was originally supposed to be constructed on that site.

New York State Senator William H.Reynolds sold the development to Chrysler as a result of the economic downturn before the building was redesigned -

One of the greatest lobbies in any skyscraper today. Too bad, modern towers are not built with this same kind of grandeur.

the greatest skyscraper in the world!

sky i am in awe of your lobby shots wow! -- i have the same, but mine did not come out well. too dark and crowded in there when i tried it (on ohny day), much less my limited talents and crappy point n shoot haha!
