I'm my own boss, hence the reason I can afford to waste time here.

The shades are...interesting. I think the louvers are adjustable and they seem to be in the open position right now...

you're making less and less sense with every post TD. First I live in Tucson and now I'm a television domestic goddess and then you take a swipe at DonB. by calling me cupcake. Real nice.....

And why are you so protective of the Sheraton anyway, do you want to work there like Vandercook?

Ok, dumb question, but how will they have the window washers come down the south face with those louvers sticking out?

^ They'll walk on the louvers.

Seriously, I have no flippin' idea, but it's not my headache.

As for what the louvers are doing for the appearance of this building, the expression "a turd covered with frosting" comes to mind.

Oh wow those things look hideous. Brutal; just when we thought it couldn't get any worse... Now in a few years they can paint the whole thing like yellow or something - just keep rubbing our faces in it.

Score one for Rawtherapee, a free RAW image processing program!

This was shot in ISO 1600, F/4, 1/6s handheld with the Canon 17-85 IS lens.

Just wanted to say I was in today in the main lobby and the second floor meeting rooms. This place is unbelievable. We have not been doing it justice whatsoever. The grand escalator up to the breakout space is an entrance like I've never seen before.
