CALGARY - Fish Creek Provincial Park

Fish Creek Provincial Park is one of the largest urban parks in Canada (3318 acres -- 1348 hectares) and the largest provincial park within a city in Canada. It is now almost entirely enclosed by development within Calgary city limits.

=========================================================

I just purchased my first DSLR, the Canon Digital Rebel XTi (with a Tamron 18-200mm lens) today. As such, I also wanted to test it out. So I took a stroll down into Fish Creek once I got home. Unfortunately, I am still getting used to the camera settings so not every shot is exactly a gem. However, I hope that this well get better in coming days. Most of the testing done today was in the manual mode, working with different ISO settings and such.

Great Photo's. Although this site is about skyscrapers....it is nice to see these "less known" parts of cities.
