More than 400 jobs will be coming to the 88 acre Honda Aircraft Company world headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina. The campus is located at Piedmont Triad Intl Airport and includes the headquarters, an extensive research center with virtual reality jets and jet factory. An engine factory is also located 28 miles away in Burlington. Most of the jobs have an average salary of about $70,000 per year. The expansion jobs will be about $53,418. The 80,000 sq ft building will include component parts manufacturing and maintenance facility. The CEO indicated that more models will be built in Greensboro and the company may build two or three more facilities on the campus. (a third parts-manufacturing plant, warehouse and distribution facility) The Honda Aircraft Company campus consist of a total of 500,000 square feet on 88 acres. For future expansion purposes, Honda Aircraft has leased 54 additional acres at PTI Airport. More than 130 acres is being leased by Honda Aircraft Company.
