Where exactly is this??? It doesn't look like a Starbucks.
It's at the end of the old Canadian tire. Across from Best Buy overlooking Walmart. Used to be where Canadian Tire had their Gardening Centre.

It does not seem to have a drive thru window so if anything I think it would be either a Pizza place or possibly a Battery house.

I said the building in front of staples was Starbucks. I 100% confirmed that. The other building I have no idea what it is.

I believe Marks is moving to there.

Also Goodlife Fitness is taking the old Marks space.

I don't think the new store will take up that entire section though.

Does anyone know what happened with Montana's? The sign has been removed and i recall The Guardian reporting a signing was imminent in Feb 2014. Looks like it is dead but i would like to know who to blame for this.

They couldn't find a franchisee. So blame the lack of millionaires on PEI.

I think I read that this building is to be Sun Life Financial. The one at the top of the hill before you go down to Walmart. As well I heard that A new food spot is coming to go in where Pat and Willy's was a number of years ago. Also does anyone know when the Honda Motorcycle shop is to open up on the Sherwood Road. Also one last thing what is taking place in the field across from Atlantic Cat on the Malpeque Road and as well across from Atlantic Cat on the Sherwood road in the field there is stakes up in there like it is markings for a building or a sub division.

Charlottetown Mall subdividing old Target space

The owners of the Charlottetown Mall are breaking up the space previously occupied by Target to make way for as many as six new tenants.

Before closing in April, Target occupied 107,800 square feet at the mall.

Mall owner RioCan said in a news release that space will be broken into four large-format spaces at 20,000 to 30,000 square feet each, and two small shops at about 5,000 square feet each.

The developer said negotiations with three national tenants are at an advanced stage.

Construction is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2015, with stores opening in the second half of 2016.

RioCan expects to substantially increase revenues in the subdivided space. Target was paying $4.20/square foot, while the new tenants are expected to generate a revenue of $12.46/square foot.
