1984 - Michael Jackson in New West

found this pic on The Vancouver Sun website

A 1984 Sun photo of Michael Jackson descending the steps of New Westminster city hall, surrounded by policemen.

ummm can anyone fill me in as to this photo? did he go to the COV City Hall as well? what was he doing out in New West?

regardless ... odd and I figured someone on here would have a memory of what was going on back in 84.

Great picture and good story. Even if you aren't a big Jackson fan, I recommend the documentary "This Is It" about his last shows in London (that never happened). He was a perfectionist and hard working professional despite all of his personal issues.
