Besides the cooling tower and the lantern, how is the top going to be finished? Anyone know if there will be edging or a cap around the top of the glass going all the way around?

Beat me too it gw04 - I agree it was nice to see the glass reach the top of the building on the north and east sides of the building today (Arch St. and 18th Street).

The escalators were running the morning:

Some perspective - you can see a worker over there on the right:

The story is on philly dot com now:

http://www.philly.com/philly/busines...-20170822.html
The inspection began a few weeks ago and will continue for another month to include the examination of each of the 5,200 welds binding 621 separate pieces of steel being assembled to support the building’s lighting and mechanical equipment, Gattuso said.

The possible instances spotted so far may be merely surface markings, but any actual cracks that are found can be repaired by driving metal rods into the fractures to arrest their growth, he said.

The cost of the inspection and any other associated expenses will be borne by the supplier of the metal, SteelFab Inc. of Charlotte, N.C.
So all the lawyers on the forum can stand down.

Geez, a lot of Philly's period mason buildings need an exterior cleaning. It would really show them off.

You lack standing to speak for all lawyers on this forum and you can anticipate a cross-claim stating as much. Good day, sir.

I'll SEE your cross-claim, and raise it with a COUNTER-claim. And perhaps even get it certified as a class action on behalf of all the lawyers on this forum for whom I DO speak.

Now how do I get service of process on this friggin' forum?

[Litigious, my ass. ]
