Did I read right that the building is approx. 200,000 sq. ft and will cost approx. $100 million? At $500 per sq. ft, that seems awful high. Have construction cost gone up that much in Regina? I have to wonder what the rent will be in order to get a decent ROI. Anyone know?
That cost is similar to what the costs of a building here in Calgary would be.

Thanks for the update, it's moving along nicely. With Class A office space near zero other large office projects are possibly on the horizon. There's room for a future tower north of the bulldozer and south of the FCC tower, another prime spot.

I hear that too. The rumor has been floating around for awhile of something being built next to FCC. Sad, in that FCC is my favorite Saskatchewan building, but as long as its a nice design I say go for it.

I think the rumour is that a tower could possibly be built on the podium right next to the FCC since apparently when it was built it was built with that purpose in mind... I don't know if there is any truth in that rumour though.

Yes ,I recall the rumour that FCC was originally to build a smaller version of existing tower on the podium right beside but didn't for some reason. I like the FCC as well but it should have been taller. So I guess there's room for 2 more towers in that portion of the block.

Does this mean that Mosaic is moving its headquarters from Minneapolis to Regina?

I believe one of the original rumours way back when on skyscraperpage.com about the Harvard Tower was that Shell was going to be moving to Regina. I wish.

They are moving along quite well with shoring up the site. I'd say they are close to 40% done.

I don't have any picture updates (I moved to Saskatoon for school), but they're making quite the progress on digging. They're roughly 40 feet under ground now.

This picture doesn't do the activity on site justice, but it gives you a shot of what it looks like today anyhow.

Unfortunately this tower has been downgraded to 18 floors from 20. However it will still be the same height as Hill tower I and II. Apparently they have started pouring concrete for the pilings. This is getting really exciting!
