the city looks just fantastic, the renders excellent, and the ground detail to die for; well you know:

How did you calculate the cost of the observ tower (even in 08 $) ?

in any case, i like it that you project a 2020 city, materials will indeed be lighter.

hey if i find the time and no one beats me to it I'll make some of my "arcologies" planned with those carbon nanotubes! no kiddin'

Spewin!, The arches are something i added. Lucky there are only 5.

It's copied from Chifley tower, Sydney.

Some things need a tweak.

here's the original, i've been stalling this "arcology" from the times before sketchup when we lit up our lanterns with whale oil to draw skyscrapers on the sides of our caves.

@ drafts on stone walls

That would look sweet with some stuff hanging off that people ask 'what is that for?'

I did have to squash Chifley to fit on the block but the original is to almost perfect scale except for i added a few floors to the upper mid sections and the concourse thing is just made up because the real Chifley has way too much detail

Oh lol it does look a bit like TITTIES !

Here, some new shiat.
Tell me what sux please , I am putting lot of effort into them but some things i waist time on and then slacken off on something that needs more detail.
Keep in mind it's not finished and things like benches bins cars people etc will come later.

Kerk thinks it would look better with all these black dots all over !

I dont really like the pointy top one with black n white stripes

Well what doesn't suck? So much to point out. Haha, JayKay.

Kerk can be a little wild sometimes. It's those viruses it used to install in it's system to get some amazing crashes. Haha, get it.

But really. It's amazingg. You should move that observation tower to another spot and maybe make it a little thicker in the middle part of the freestanding part.

Yeah i guess it should be close to the waterfront hey , I expected it to stand out more at that height but it will be barely visible soon ! I guess the same thing happened with Sydney tower over time, These days it isnt visible from many areas of the city on ground level . Which reminds me , A few days ago the lift broke down and 11 people was trapped !

OH YEAH , I wanted to bring my Q1 model to GGC but thought it was silly because the real Q1 is only a few miles away - I would have to create some silly story that mega movers were gonna move it.

But i remembered something !!

Originally the Q would consist of 2 towers i.e Q1 & Q2 when the development plans were released. I assume it was scrapped due to financial stuff so it will be in GGC as Q2. very

I was 10 when i saw the models of the development. ahhh ... memories
