MobyLL-- Yes, those pics do give a very general overview of the Loft/Garment district. Washington Avenue has the highest concentration of lofts, but the entire corridor spanning Locust, St. Charles, Olive and Pine are also becoming significantly residential as well. The entire west side of downtown is probably more residential than anything else right now, and the momentum is quickly spreading east.

Holy geez! That was insane...

It's feels so heavily east coast, and I mean that in the best way possible. Old, dark brick everywhere... Beautiful constrasts of architecture. Amazing. St Louis has to be on the very top of my list of cities I haven't been to but want to see very badly. I'm calling you guys up, Jive & Gasm this summer for the urban tour!

I like this new residential bldg. I would live there:
