Really nice thread. I love London! I really liked how they integrated the old shipping cranes into the modern development. It looks so classy. Is that a pedestrian bridge in pic 29? Either way I love it!

Thanks, Jonovision. As you might see I depicted mostly modern parts here and I realised that I perhaps admire them even more than some of the classical London. Both Canary Wharf and Victoria Dock (ExCeL) areas are outstanding examples of how modern developments should be done integrating residential, office and entertainment/shopping areas.
And yes, that bridge is pedestrian (it's also in pics 30 and 31 ), there's a little article about it in Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Victoria_Dock_Bridge
In my opinion, it's one of the most exciting modern structures in London, just not well known because of remote location from central London

Thanks, Raptor. I use my Canon 350D with two different lenses (18-55mm and 70-300mm) and a polarizer filter

Great light there, and thanks for the Excel photos. Pity they never built the transporter onto the pedestrian bridge as was originally planned.

Your photo skills have improved dramatically!

Did you enhance the pics in anyway? The skies are very cooperative.

Thanks Raffles
I do some editing (then again who don't? Itr's just as a part of photography as pressing the shutter button ) but I try to keep it on a realistic scale.
