Fantastic addition to downtown! Especially with the tasting room for events. I'm glad (and a bit surprised) that ANBL would take the initiative on such a project which looks like it could have been modeled after "SAQ signature" in Quebec with very similar decor.

And, this is a destination store. If you are looking for that extra special bottle of wine, then this forces you to come downtown.

This is what the downtown needs - more destinations. This is a great addition and will disproportionately bolster the downtown economy.......

Yeah, this is going to be more for people who work Downtown and are commuting out of Downtown than it will be a destination for those to come into Downtown. It's a wine store.

And when the traffic increases due to the success of the store, it will become a whine store as well.

Important to note this is also another added perk of living in FiveFive Queen. Residents can now buy Craft beer from Gahan or Wine from this store and bring it up to their Condo without having to leave the building. Great in winter! Not to mention you have pumphouse & tide & boar a few steps away, and the events centre a 10 minute walk.

What a fun place to live, I wish I could afford one of these.

I can't imagine that strange parking lot next door with the bungalow perched in the middle of it remaining undeveloped for too long. Having FiveFive as a neighbour has just boosted the desirability of this property immensely.

A second 55 Queen Street named 45 Queen Street perhaps.

I Actually remember a while back the property was put up for sale but never sold. There was also a Package deal that was sold in 2017 for 475,000
The adresses are from 41-51 Lewis that could have been another project along with 48, and 58-60 Lewis all that ould be missing is 54 LEWIS ST, and of course 45 Queen, and they could build a similar project then 55 Queen.

Something similar in scale, but with a different architectural style would be very nice.

That bungalow lot is bluecross staff paid parking I think the Building owners own it.. managed by colliers.

All the lewis st properties in that deal are now torn down.. They are spreading gravel so it does look like its going to be parking.

The tower crane at FiveFive Queen has come down. The pieces are now lying on the ground at the site of the soon-to-be-constructed Hyatt Place Hotel.

This doesn't necessarily mean that the crane will be used to build the new hotel. Perhaps the pieces were placed here for disassembly......

I suspected it was coming down yesterday when I saw the "other" large crane parked behind the building. I figured it was to take the tower crane down.
