H&M is for everyone, not just teens. They have a kids section, they have business casual attire, etc. They cater to everyone, even grandma/grandpa can find something to their liking there.

So the Rideau project is this one, based on the maquette posted on Twitter. Through the power of deduction, Moon is at Lyon Station and District is at LeBreton.

I'm going to stick with Royale = Rideau, District = Lyon (CBD), Moon = Barrhaven (Half-moon bay), and East Flats = Lebreton.
East Flats will have to avoid coming online at the same time as trinity's bayview development. Everything else can pretty much be built whenever.

Looks like Moon is the Lyon station development.

Looks like they didn't change the design that much from 2015. That design was bad.

So this has officially been confirmed as Claridge Royale. What’s interesting is that there will be a grocery store on the ground floor... maybe Metro is just going to move back in once construction is over? Also no indication that the hotel component remains intact.

The renders seem pretty similar to the previous one....

That's quite a dense patch of towers there. Not pretty, but hey, they could turn out alright.

Looks a lot like what Gotham/Bowery look like on Gloucester.

It's hard to tell from the rendering... but is the Hotel tower connected to the one behind it?

If they are 2 different towers I'm OK with it, but if they are connected into a huge L-shaped tower, that is unacceptable.

Design is not stellar, but this is quite an improvement over Claridge Plaza. I remember when Claridge had a proposal for the Beth Shalom site (now owned by Trinity). Now that was an amazing project. Don't know why they didn't stick t is or use it for this site.

Beats the hell out of a grocery store with a parking lot.

I agree that if the two buildings on the NW corner form a giant L that it'll be pretty rough to look at, though.

New design is better IMO. The project seem less flat. The façades are more dynamic in the latest iteration. This is especially visible on the ground floor along Rideau.

I think it's a visual mess... a real dog's breakfast of design.

If drab beige consistency is more your thing you only need to look directly cross the street

Didn't see that other render before....I saw the one that was aerial, which had the same design for all towers.

I agree... there's quite a bit that I like, but I really dislike bulky L-shaped towers.
