A Melbourne Streetcar in Edmonton

Being +27 today my gf and i decided to get out of the condo and head to the famous "whyte avenue" and enjoy the "art walk". This is a 7 block long exhibit by student, local, canadian, and international artists and is literally on the (side)walk. We started downtown Edmonton and took the High Level street car, a 1946 model from Melbourne Aus donated to the railway society last year. It runs from the downtown over the high level bridge and over to whyte avenue. Besides the wonderful art, we shopped at many of the unique and independent clothiers, had an amazing "chilatte" from second cup and then proceeded back downtown for dinner @ blue plate diner, a local amazing eatery which was quiet at 4pm, but usually very busy.

right now im sipping on a raspberry 650ml 6.7% local brew...mmm beer.

enjoy!

we begin...
