Wow the proposals keep rolling in. I wonder how many are going to be built. It seems like ever since rapid transit was put on the table, suddenly there is an interest to build taller and better designed buildings. oh and if you want to add the hight it says it is 98m

I looked over the proposal and it looks really nice, looks to be of high quality as well. Note the statement on the facade materials "Limestone slabs with granite, and 2 stories glass windows"

Does anyone know who this numbered company is that is listed?

Also agree Sparky, the amount of proposals lately has been impressive. Lets hope at least half of them get built.

I think we have solved the "name" issue with London. We can change our city's name to "Proposal City".

I would rather it be changed to "Construction City".

I couldn't get the links up. Could someone put up a rendering?

Update on this project early March appears to be when more information will be available.

So according to the Freeps, this tower is 105 metres, making it slightly shorter than OLP. So this tower will definitely make a dent in the skyline. According to the latest article in the LFP, they have made a few design changes after their meeting with the Urban Design Peer Review Panel.

Nice article. I worked for George and Sally when I was in Uni. They have their hands in a bit of everything and seem to do very well. Good to see them getting into commercial development and doing good for the city.

The majority of the report is about 183 King St but at the very end of segment mention is made that 455 Clarence Street project has been approved.

With the podium it could be the Godfather of the Harriston.

previous design was nicer

the updated design of the roof looks worst then the previous design. looks like they are cutting corners and taking out the rounded corner windows on the top floors and making them square.

Thought I read that the owner was looking for a developer to partner with to start this project. They were hoping for a deal by the Fall. Well it's now 2017 and Old Oak has announced their tower on Richmond St and Rygar their towers on Talbot. Beginning to suspect this one may not be happening.

Fall has come and gone. Spring is a few weeks away. Other proposals have since been announced like the York 31s tower on King. This one looks like it's stalled. Unless they cut a deal with a Toronto developer I suspect the local developers have their hands full with their own proposed projects downtown.

Wouldn't be surprised to hear that the owner of the parking lot sells it and the dream to built this tower. Maybe Ayerswood would be interested given they gave up on the King and Clarence multi tower project due to the rapid transit blindside by City Hall.

That is too bad, this looked like a great potential.

Hopefully someone picks it up
