Thanks.
Thanks for the comment, it's actually quite simple. I carefully used the lasso tool to make the foreground a separate layer from the back. When the layer is defined, I set the foreground to monochrome. There's also some contrast adjusting to make the foreground darker and sharper.

This is actually one of my favorite tools in photoshop to play around with. It really helps to enhance the contrast of modern and old in your shot. Nice work!

You're correct. Officially known as Romanesque Revival or Neo-Romanesque, popular thoughout North America.
