...and that's just ignorant jackassery at its worst. denial is ignoring that this region was crippled (most of the damage was deserved,) and then had insult added to injury, contrary to Lincoln's plans for Reconstruction. your statement shows denial that the civil war was the worst in America's history, but ultimately had great results (the ongoing civil rights struggle and a more unified country, except for shit-disturbing jackasses like you.)
it'd be funny if it wasn't so sad, but people outside the south seem to have more of an attitude that the war's still on. (save the lame "jesusland" politics for current events.)
