I don't think there are plans for anymore buildings abutting the Gardiner. (Outside of the one last mega project recently underway)

This shot reminds me of plateau Mont royal. Edmonton is starting to emerge as the Montreal of the prairies, not just in terms of skyline. A folk music festival instead of a jazz festival. Is the long-term plan still to totally demolish the elevated section of the Gardiner to the west?

I haven't heard of any plans to demolish the Gardiner west of Jarvis. The city just built a new off ramp and park under it.

The Hub will be pretty close at the western edge but the height will definitely add to the tunnel effect. I assume that's the mega-project you were referencing.

Also, 370 Queens Quay, while only ~30 floors, will be closer to Gardiner (~5 meters) than most other buildings on Queens Quay (if approved).
