Here is a drawing of how I visualize the impact the Comcast Innovation and Technology Center will have on the Philly Skyline.

That's what my school note books used to look like between grades 1 and 12. People thought; "Really? Philadelphia again?!?"

^^^ That's pretty impressive!

When I was in Junior high, I drew 3 dimensional 50's and 60' automobiles.

Don't listen to the critics, they're just jealous.

You were building your own "tower" back then.

I used to sit at an empty table my myself in lunch and draw skylines/buildings. Needless to say, Philly was a personal favorite of mine. I wasn't a good illustrator by any means, it was a fun way to pass the time. Except for one drawing of the interior of the Basilica that I made, that was pretty good.

Seriously though, jonesrmj's drawing is pretty good. Definitely better than what I made.

This building is already looking better than imagined despite many of those key design details not being exposed yet yet – the spire, the spine /glass elevators running up the side which is covered by freight elevators, the rails running up the hotel portion which are only framed, and all the blue tape still on many of the trim pieces. I think this will just be jaw dropping when complete.

Media and pay-TV stocks shuddered last Thursday when Comcast Corp. executive Matt Strauss told analysts that the nation’s largest cable-TV company would lose 100,000 to 150,000 TV subscribers this quarter, broadly missing analysts projections that Comcast would add 9,000 customers.
Comcast lost $16b in Market capitalization in just 3 days after it's latest report talked about losing 100,000 to 150,000 TV subs. It's a dying a business - for your market cap to live and die on it, is truly dangerous - it's only getting worse as more people switch how they consume TV.

In the long-run, they might be better served spinning the TV division off as a totally separate entity - and keeping Comcast as the ISP/Fiber/digital backbone/content creator that they kind of want to be. ISP is their true moneymaker anyways as once the lines are laid it's pure profit.

TV is just not worth it anymore if your company's value takes a massive plunge based solely on TV sub numbers.

I couldn't agree more, I think a lot of naysayers will be eating their less than flattering words when this thing flexes all of its muscles
