We realize that. Fox News is moving a lot of their operations to LA because of Lachlan Murdoch, who is based in LA and who will be running the rest of Fox that wasn’t merged with Disney. See article below.

Right but this idea that LA will somehow change the narrative of THEE conservative network of the country is funny. LA is undoubtedly more Liberal but its barely a 60/40

I wonder how quickly will Inglewood gentrify once this whole complex is done. I would imagine property values nearby already increasing .

No rent control there, so it very may well.

The gentrification of Inglewood is well underway.. It's been happening for a couple years now.. Commercial and multifamily prices skyrocketed as soon as the complex was approved

The only thing that would make Korea Town better is if it actually looked like Korea. This is a step in the right direction.

Also, the Korean-American National Museum is a good start...

Refreshing reprieve from the 7-story shitboxes, to say the least.

I've always been a fan of the bronze look to the facade. This is what I like, and this building has it (half of it at least). Great!

One Broadway Plaza Center

Shouldn't the near 500 foot tall 37 story One Broadway Plaza Center Building in Santa Ana be added to the under construction list? They now have the footprint of the square building layed with holes dug for the steel foundation all ready set on the building site.

Very interesting development at the One Beverly Hills site-

https://www.wsj.com/articles/chinese...Pos=1#cxrecs_s

Ignoring the parts about the Chinese exit, Beny Alagem is the new buyer after the Canadian firm Triple Five walked away. This might change the dynamic of his proposed tower redesign next door at the Beverly Hilton.

The partnership of Alagem Capital, headed by hotel mogul Beny Alagem, and Cain International already owns two neighboring hotels: the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills and the Beverly Hilton. With the latest purchase of the One Beverly Hills site located next to the Beverly Hilton, they will own a contiguous site of 17 acres that comes with a coveted 90210 ZIP Code.

“We are used to developing iconic projects in iconic areas,” Mr. Goldstein said in an interview. He added that it is a once-in-a generation opportunity to be able to develop more than 1 million square feet of space on both the Beverly Hilton and the One Beverly Hills sites. Mr. Goldstein said he expects the deal to close this month.

This could be real interesting for the city of BH, let the speculation begin.

I lived in Korea many years. In some ways it seems like Korea. Esp in the older neighborhoods, not the ones with 20-40 story buildings with names like Lotte Castle 101, 102, 103.

I always loved the original Meir design, and hope they keep that. I just want it built!
