Anyone confirm the height of One Bloor? I've seen something that suggests 240 metres to the top of the mechanical's roof. The parapet can't be more than 2 metres in height.

It was gonna be 238 meters when it was 70 floors... 240 meters at 75 floors?

Lol!

Urgh. I didn't believe it myself but, I still did my due diligence. Remember, they also changed the design of the tower's profile in that process. It was more involved than just tacking on 5 floors.

That is a nice shot of Brookfield. I always find aerial shots of buildings much more impressive than those taken at ground level.

Am I the only one who thinks the balcony glass meeting the bluer glass near the base is going to look disjointed? You have this organic watery flow to the whole tower, then BAM straight line.

I see what you are trying to say. But if they carried the organic look all the way to the base it would have looked ridiculous, or been ridiculously expensive to engineer and build.

The base levels are retail, the podium levels above are amenity space for the condos, I believe.

A typo or height increase for Stantec to 72?

The look is carried through. The balconies aren't. I don't see a need for engineering or huge costs to have incorporated the frit pattern of the balconies into the curtain wall.

True enough, if the base/podium levels were residential and not retail.

Wow, seeing that glazing and those fins, I don't even care about the height, that is top-shelf stuff.
