I meant from a spherical geometric perspective (east/west and north/south borders are parallel and the corners meet at right angles on the surface). The pictures here are projections, not the actual 3D surfaces.
Since we like to think in 2D so much, and since the earth's surface is locally flat, I vote for PEI. It is the closest to being a flat surface.
