I don't see how that does the company any good. It's so friggin' huge that you'd have to keep your eyes off the road for a good twenty seconds to even read it.

I think the topic on the front page of that paper (the link) was more interesting. I wonder what the standards for a green building in Dubai would be.

Yes it is. The landing approach route to Dubai International Airport passes there and the planes flies not more then 300 meters (1000 ft) above ground at that spot.

That is meant to be read from the air by the passangers on the planes flying overhead, and it does the company as much good as a Lexus ad in front of a Mercedes showroom will (If you know what I mean).
