Moody’s signs this year’s largest deal at One World Trade Center

The expanding credit-rating service just signed a lease for 75,000 square feet on the tower’s 56th and 57th floors, sources told The Post. The asking rent was $69 a square foot.

The Moody’s deal is the largest at 1 WTC, also home to Condé Nast, since High 5 Games took 87,600 square feet in November 2014.

Moody’s has 680,000 square feet in Larry Silverstein’s 7 WTC, but could not expand there because that tower is full.

The new lease brings 1 WTC to about 66 percent occupancy. Cushman & Wakefield’s John Cefaly and Gus Field represented Moody’s.

Have the remaining employees of Conde Nast all moved into 1WTC? Around 3,000 in total correct?

Also, is 4WTC now actually occupied by the Port Authority now? And does anyone know about how many employees are currently working in the buildings?

It looks awful. All patchy. There are squares that do a trippy rainbow freakout effect. I think it's really disappointing.

Does anyone know if Silverstein or the PA can sue Durst? This is the second major problem with the base, both due to cheap materials (remember that Chinese glass?). I'm sure they can't be happy about the prospect of a costly fix on their newly opened flagship tower, and the press won't be flattering either.

After all of these years, Ive really tried to like this building, but its just plain old ugly, boring, and uninspired. Oh well. At least theres tons more towers about the same height and some higher than this ugly tower being built in the city.

It's certainly disappointing and unacceptable that the windows never look all clean at the same time. This doesn't seem to be a problem i've noticed with the dozens and dozens of other all-glass buildings. I'd like to know why this is the case with 1 WTC, one of the most high-profile buildings in NYC.
