awesome, awesome. today marks two weeks since i've been out of town and i was getting kind of itchy. a sekkle series will hit the sweet spot every time.

the hawthorne bridge and ferris wheel shots are the champs this time around.

Fantastic work, dude. I really enjoy your versatility, from wide cityscapes to intimate street shots and more artistic fare. When I move up to Portland, I would be honored to get a tour of some good photo spots by you.

Splendid, as always, Sekkle. Neat idea for a thread, too. So many beautiful and creative shots, here are some of my favourites:

Keep up your brilliance. I know I sound like a broken record, but you really should look into making a profit out of this. If you just don't like the idea of it, fine, but I remember you saying you didn't think your photos were that great. Just try it out, I saw many photos that are far better than postcards and look like they could be at a farmers market photography stall or in a little known art studio or an online photography business.

^ thanks homey. I've considered setting up a stand at the farmers market near my house, but it just seems like a lot of work. And 9 times out of 10 when I see people selling photos at a market, they seem like they're way better than mine. Plus, what might entertain people on SSP might not necessarily appeal to the general public. But who knows, maybe someday I'll try to sell some of these things.

No problem. I definitely don't see most of your photos having broad appeal, as they are pretty niche. However, I think if you took 50-60% of the photos I pointed out, they'd have broad enough appeal. Tie that in with previously taken photos, and you have a decent stack of photos.

they may be too niche for a table at a farmers market, but nothing is too niche for selling over the internet. You'll also widen your customer base to those who are Portland homesick, or enjoy your pics of other cities.
