Go Pro and similar cameras

i've been a little interested in getting one for a few months but now that i have a kid i'm now really interested.

i think i'd like something that's lightweight and wearable, that i could also mount to my car dash or dog's collar so survivability is also a factor. i'd also like remote capability.

anyone have experience or advice?

I've owned two GoPros. The ocean took one after the surfboard mount didn't work. The second one I still use a lot. I have a kite rig that I built and I mount mine on my RC trucks. I have the suction cup mount that works great on windows, but not on paint. I found that out the hard way. The camera flew off at 40mph. The only part I couldn't find was the memory card. The camera still works great.

This video was on various windows

My first attempt at making a video with my first rc truck. I have better trucks, just no time.

Feel free to message me if you want.

The new GoPro Hero 4 comes out on the 5th. It records in 4K. After they do, you should be able to pick up a good Hero 3 with everything for a good price.
