Saw it on my Facebook feed about 100 times, and it is still funny as shit every time I watch it. Morons confusing Sikhs and Hindus for Muslims in always funny in a depressing way.

I'm struck by how he kept his cool, which, istm, speaks well of him. At the same time he hasn't mastered the art of speaking over a heckler when he's at the mike (to be fair, that would have to be tough with such an "in your face" display).

Was that the same lady who was filmed bitching about not having a white Canadian doctor at a medical clinic? It was in the same region anyway.

When I think about it, it's too bad he didn't deck her - there would finally have been some interest in the NDP leadership contest!

I actually don't care for the fact that morons make the mistake to confuse Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims. Basically they are ignorant and it seems for them all "brown" people are the same. The real issue is that they have these thoughts in the first place and act on them from such ignorance.

She refused to leave after being asked repeatedly, so trespassing would be one, but that's not really worth much...

She probably is more vigorous in her beliefs after this whole thing went national.

Looking online she's apparently active in those Anti-Muslim groups, which makes it even more amazing that she's too stupid to know the difference between Muslims and Sikhs. Must not work, I can't imagine any employer dumb enough to want that baggage.

This NDP campaign is so uninteresting it's even managing to turn potential excitement into non-events

Comes down to a choice of "taking the leap" or going with tradition, it would seem.

Singh would be totally playing on Trudeau's own turf - in that little video with the heckling woman, he sounded even more kumbayesque than JT (not a small feat!)

He would be a very interesting choice - Singh would make races in southern Ontario really unpredictable in places that should normally go to the Natural Governing Party.

Yeah, that would be really interesting. A lot of these ridings on the rare occasions they've flipped away from the Liberals it's been to the Tories, not the NDP.

He addressed this immediately after she left, brown skin with a turban and a beard looks muslim to the ignorant. I like the statement he issued about why he didn't correct her; “In fact, many have clarified that I’m actually Sikh. While I’m proud of who I am, I purposely didn’t go down that road because it suggests their hate would be ok if I was Muslim" well said! I'm still not going to vote NDP, but this guy should be in the House of Commons to lend a voice of tolerance and reason.
